Fast - paced

So I'm visiting my friend in New York City for reading week  and I have to say this class has made me much more aware of how people move through cities. As much as I love New York for all of its wonders, this trip has made me appreciate Edmonton in a new way. Everyone in NYC is in such a hurry all the time, no one ever looks up, people walk like they're on a mission. In Edmonton we tend to gander, we look around more, and seem to appreciate the little things a bit more. As annoying as I find it that people walk SO slow through hub mall, I hate how fast people walk in New York and how everything moves non stop. There are no moments of silence or stillness. Edmonton is simple in some ways, but pleasantly simple.
